Hi, my name is Officer E.L. Forestal (also known online as the “Fitness Cop” or  “the band man”). You see I’m a resistance band fanatic. I’ve used exercise bands as my primary workout equipment for the last 5 years now, and the results have been quick and profoundly noticeable (especially in my midsection).

If you didn’t already know it, I’m the guy who developed the first ever law enforcement specific workout program called Fit For Duty Workouts, as well as the widely downloaded ebook, Swat Team Workouts.

A tad more about me: I’m a thirty something husband and father from a small town in Indiana, who enjoy high impact exercises, as well as helping people just like you burn off fat PERMANENTLY. I consider myself the luckiest person on earth because I’m able to do the two things that I really enjoy – being a police officer and a professional fitness trainer.

I’m just a regular guy,  I haven’t won the lottery, I don’t drive a fancy car, and I’m not a millionaire. What I do have is a beautiful wife, an awesome baby girl, a loving family, awesome friends, and a line of work that I enjoy.

My Story – My Personal Struggles With Weight And My
Embarrassing Weight Gain Right Before My Wedding…

I know firsthand, how it feels like to carry TONS of unwanted weight. I know because I’ve been there. I haven’t always had 6-pack abs. In fact, I was fat on the most important day of my life – my wedding.

So why am I telling you this?

Well, I want to share my weight loss story with you and maybe you can get the same results as I did without dieting. I’m hopeful that my embarrassing story may inspire you. Remember though, I am NOT another self-proclaimed fitness guru who will make outrageous weight loss promises or anything like that. I am just a hard working fitness trainer, who designed a NO-NONSENSE workout program that flat out works!

Here’s How I Got Fat In The First Place…

I’ve always been a relatively active and athletic guy, but somewhere along the way, I kind of lost track of my active and healthy lifestyle. If I had to try and pinpoint when exactly it was that I went off track, I’d have to say it was right around the time I picked up some off duty work to pay for my wedding. I gradually stopped taking care of myself and started eating foods that I knew were bad for me. Well, I woke up one day exhausted from working too much the day before and discovered that I had love handles.

I jumped out of bed and located the nearest scale. I was flabbergasted when I realized that I’d gain a whopping 40 pounds right before my wedding. As someone who played sports all his life and stayed in pretty good shape, it was a little disheartening to learn that I’d gained 40 pounds before my big day!

I had an image of myself as a fit and athletic guy and the weight gain definitely changed that. When I looked in the mirror and saw my new chubby self, I was not happy to say the least.

My Post Honeymoon Weight Loss Story…

Once I got back from my honeymoon, I was motivated to no end to get rid of the weight for good. I trained with resistance bands exclusively and did the EXACT workout that’s outlined in this fat loss workout program. I never worked out more than 3 days a week, 45 minutes or less.

When I did the Fit For Duty workout program, I followed the intermediate level and alternated between my highly effective workout A & B. In just 3 short months of NO NONSENSE training, I dropped my body fat to single digits and lost 30 pounds.

So Why start this weight loss Blog?

With this blog, I plan to be as transparent as possible with everything I did to get insanely lean in 3 months. My nutrition, my strategies and my workouts – it’s all out there for you to see for FREE. I’m not trying to show off. In fact, that’s exactly the opposite of my purpose here. I want to show you exactly what I did so that you can learn and be successful too – from both my success stories and my failures.

I don’t consider myself a know it all, I’m always trying to learn knew ways to better serve my clients, and my techniques are not secrets and what I teach DON’T involve doing mind-numbing cardio, spending money  on diet pills, or supplements. I don’t run a “get slim quick” scheme. If you’re looking to get slim quick within the next week or so– then I’m sorry, you’re not in the right place. Good luck to you.

Weight loss takes hard work, and discipline. If you’re determined to change your body and you work hard at what you want to accomplish, you WILL get there.
